We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting and Invoicing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the financial transactions of the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. This role involves handling invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and maintaining financial records. The Accounting and Invoicing Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the financial health and efficiency of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Invoicing and Billing:
• Generate and send accurate and timely invoices to clients.
• Verify and reconcile invoices received from vendors.
• Follow up on outstanding payments and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Accounts Receivable:
• Monitor and track incoming payments.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
• Prepare and maintain aging reports to assess overdue accounts.
• Accounts Payable:
• Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
• Reconcile statements and resolve discrepancies with vendors.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date records of payables.
• Financial Record Keeping:
• Record financial transactions accurately in the accounting system.
• Maintain organized and well-documented financial records.
• Prepare financial reports and summaries for management.
• Compliance and Regulation:
• Stay updated on financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures.
• Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
• Communication and Collaboration:
• Collaborate with other departments to gather relevant financial information.
• Communicate with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders regarding financial matters.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in accounting, finance, or a similar role 2-4 years experience required.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or relevant certification is a plus.
• Experience with QuickBooks or other accounting software preferred.
• Knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with Accounting Software.
• Familiarity with industry-specific regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
