Responsibilities

The Director of Data Strategy and Analytics position is a strategic leader within the Company responsible for leading a team of data analytics professionals to develop actionable reporting and provide data insights. This individual will accomplish this while maintaining a well-documented and robust data architecture, ensuring data quality and security, and fostering innovation and collaboration in cross-functional teams. This position reports to and works closely with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), CFO-EagleBank and Senior Staff to support the data and reporting strategies and goals of Eagle Bancorp.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Management, Business Analytics, or related discipline.
• 8 years of experience working in management reporting and data analytics.
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Ability to align data management and reporting strategies with overall business goals.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts to non-technical key stakeholders.
• Experience working closely with business leaders to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.
• Experience implementing data solutions that solve complex data-related problems, improve operational efficiency and support decision-making.
• Extensive knowledge of risk management in banking (interest rate risk, liquidity risk, investment risk and capital risk.

Preferences:

• Advanced degree preferred (Master’s or MBA).
• Relevant certifications such as a Certified Information Management Professional (CIMP), Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or similar.
• Experience in financial services or regulated industry.
