We understand the need to be creative and flexible when it comes to telecommuting and other alternative work arrangements. This position is eligible for our hybrid remote work and will work in the Bethesda, MD office four days per week.

Responsibilities

As the Corporate Development & Investor Relations Manager, you'll be a contributing architect of the company's investment story, shaping and communicating it to the market through strategic engagement. You'll play a key role to the company’s overall strategy development, collaborating with cross-functional teams to craft key messages and build relationships with key investors and internal constituents. Leveraging your financial expertise, you'll contribute thought leadership on corporate actions and analyze results to identify profit opportunities. You'll also play a crucial role in supporting senior leadership with data analysis, model governance, and strategic decision-making tools. Expect to utilize your critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify and quantify opportunities, while ensuring alignment with the company's vision through effective reporting and collaboration. A successful candidate can expect to be a contributing voice in driving the strategy the company's financial future.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or other quantitative field.
  • 6-8 years of business experience with a financial or analytical focus.
  • Proven expertise in financial and strategic modeling (R and Python for example) and ability to work with large datasets.
  • Experience working with and supporting several business units.
  • Aptitude using financial information and tools to identify options and make decisions and experience with reporting software (Tableau for example).
  • Ability to cultivate effective relationships and communicate effectively with executive and senior management.
  • In-depth knowledge of strategy processes, tools, and frameworks; ability to ideate, develop hypotheses, prove or disprove hypotheses through structured analysis and recommend a path.
  • Proven ability to see strategic recommendations through to successful execution. 

Preferences:

  • CFA charter holder or candidacy desired, but not required.
