Payroll Administrator - (Salary)
We are looking for a proficient payroll assistant to assist and/or lead in the weekly processing of payroll. The payroll assistant will be responsible for maintaining employee data with strict confidentiality. This position is an onsite position.
To be successful as a payroll assistant, you must have strong numeracy skills and be able to multitask effectively. Ultimately, an outstanding payroll assistant should be able to manage all aspects of payroll in a timely and accurate manner.
Essential Functions:
· Assist our terminals in distributing “Assessment Profiles” as requested
· This position will also assist with switchboard rotation coverage – about 1.5 hours every other week.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
· Three plus years in a Payroll Office performing all payroll functions
· Excellent skills using Excel, Word and other Microsoft Office Suite products
· Familiarity with Teams is a plus
· Strong skills using and understanding the flow of transactions in an integrated and
automated payroll system
· Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
· Excellent problem solving/judgment skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy
· Ability to recognize issues and take the initiative to propose solutions
· Strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and under pressure
