Eagle Press & Equipment is Hiring a Sales Manager Near Springfield, TN

Position Summary

Responsible for all sales activities in the defined territories in US & Mexico (to be discussed and finalized) and growth of sales to achieve and exceed projected goals and targets. Provides vision, coaching, training and direction to sales force to maximize profit from all relevant sectors of the market. Most potential sectors being Sheet Metal Components for Auto and Appliances.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategy and plan to generate new account* sales
  • Increase North American market share (in assigned territory) of Confidential and its Affiliates and achieve the minimum sales target.
  • Develop, forecast and monitor budget and utilize operational resources.
  • Maintain contact with key markets and customers.
  • Plans and directs sales force activities to maximize profit from all sectors of the market.
  • Submit bi-weekly reporting and planning calendar to executive for review / discussion
  • Visit customers and prospective customers as required
  • Report to and meet with customers during manufacturing, buy-offs and start ups
  • Participate in customer buy-offs and training programs
  • Submit timetables for promotional adverts c/w budgets
  • Participate in updates for marketing strategies eg: web page, emails, newsletter, brochures and print ads
  • Participate in and lead-organize industry related trade show booths
  • Participate and support Confidential dealer sales team
  • Support house account sales efforts
  • Design and lead sales presentations (customers, machinery reps and industry related functions)
  • Update and maintain contact database
  • Other general and administrative duties as required.

Skills & Knowledge Requirements

  • Experience in Capital Industrial Equipment Sales an asset
  • Experience in Sheet metal component manufacturing industry an asset
  • Experience in Sales and Marketing to Automotive Component Manufacturing Industry
  • Knowledge of machines and tools including designs, uses, repairs and maintenance an asset
  • Ability to analyze and interpret drawings and understanding of manufacturing (drafting, machining, fabrication, assembly, commissioning, maintenance)
  • Strong proven professional leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude, strong influence and persuasion skills
  • Highly organized, quick learner and self-starter
  • Excellent communication skills (consistent and timely) and presentation skills,
  • Strong customer service oriented skills, easily builds rapport and gains trust
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
  • Willingness to travel
  • Proven leadership and ability to drive a sales team
  • Ability to operate at a high level in a fast paced and changing market environment
  • Data management
  • Competent working knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Suite applications (Excel, Word, Power Point and Project)
