Position Details:
Title: Custodian I
Placement (location): Eagle Rock Elementary
Supervisor: Principal or designee
Contract Days: 260 days per year to begin ASAP
Salary Range: no less than $15.84 - $22.54 per hour depending upon verified, previous full time experience in similar position
Salary based on final union negotiations
Closing Date: Open until filled with screening to begin ASAP
Description:
This is a full-time, year-round position maintaining facilities. The Custodian job goal is to provide the students and staff with a clean, attractive and safe environment in which to learn and teach. To accomplish this task, the Custodian performs routine custodial, repair and cleaning work. General custodial and deep cleaning of bathrooms, classrooms, and offices. Duties will also include painting, moving a variety of things, working with the Plant Engineer on a variety of job duties, and tear down and set up for activities.
