Position Details:
Title: Instructional Assistant in the Student Support Services
Placement (location): Eagle Rock Elementary
Supervisor: Principal or designee
Contract Days: 179 days/year beginning 9/6/2022
Salary Range: $16.06 - $22.85 per hour depending upon previous, full time experience in similar position
Description:
This assistant will be responsible for supervising and supporting students with academic and behavioral needs throughout the course of a school day. They will supervise students that may need a break or quiet location per individual student plans, assigned detention and/or students that have been assigned In-School Suspension. Some additional duties may be added to the IA to support programs or additional staff members in several areas (data entry, care calls, attendance, website maintenance, parent communication, PBIS rewards, team meetings, coordinate homework support between staff and student). The successful candidate will be someone that builds positive relationships with staff, students and community and has great written and verbal communication skills.
