Facility Nurse

Part-Time: 16 hours per pay period

Note: Triage Nurses take calls 6pm-6am and on weekends torelieve our primary nurses of most calls.

Facility Nurse

Eagle Crest Communities is looking for a caring andcompassionate nurse to join our team of dedicated staff! This position willwork alongside the Facility Manager serving our 48 residents at our Cass Stlocation. In this position, the Staff RN will become familiar with eachresident’s care needs, work with the residents and other care providers relatedto medical concerns, educate and supervise Resident Care Associates inmedication administration and other tasks as delegated by the Nurse Manager.

What You’ll Do

• In this position, the Nurse will become familiarwith each resident’s care needs, work with the residents and other careproviders related to medical concerns, new admission and routine assessments aswell as discharge planning.
• Our Nurse will attend continuing educationseminars as necessary to maintain compliance with regulatory policies and bestpractices.
• This nurse will educate and supervise ResidentCare staff in medication administration and resident care, delegating tasks asappropriate.
• Collaborate in a supportive environment with ourTriage Nurse Team

What You’ll Need

• Currently licensed to practice in the State ofWisconsin as a Registered Nurse
• Demonstrated knowledge of gerontological nursing
• The ability to think critically and problemsolve with staff and available resources
• Basic computer skills and the ability to adaptto new software
• Experience working with geriatric populationand/or memory care is beneficial, but not required
• One year of prior nursing experience preferredbut not required—We will train the right fit for our team!
