Eagle Brook Church is Hiring a Facilities Coordinator (Part-time) Near Red Wing, MN

 
 
 
Eagle Brook Church is a multi-site church looking for a self-motivated, relational, and servant hearted Facilities Coordinator to join our campus team. This person will assist in leading facilities activities to ensure safe, efficient, and welcoming environments. A person who enjoys physical activity and is an effective problem solver will thrive in this role. POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for creating a clean and safe environment that welcomes attenders. Partners with campus team to manage facility related aspects of a healthy and thriving ministry environment. Reports to the Campus Pastor.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintains the function of building’s furnishings and equipment
  • Supports the Facilities duties including set-up and tear-down for all campus events
  • Partners with pastoral team to recruit, train and coordinate volunteer support for facility related functions, including set up/tear down, custodial and grounds support.
  • Assists with ensuring safety for attenders and staff 
  • Gives work direction to the Facilities volunteer team
  • Follows campus emergency procedures and supports staff in the event of an emergency
  • Assists in maintaining inventory of custodial supplies, equipment, and furnishings
  • Provides oversight of facility related systems, including HVAC, lighting, and network systems
  • Coordinates and hosts onsite vendor visits with collaboration from central partners
  • Other projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Follower of Jesus and aligns with Eagle Brook’s nine core beliefs
  • Experience supporting coordination of departmental work activity
  • Physical ability for cleaning and operating cleaning equipment, plus occasional snow removal on sidewalks
  • Experience leading volunteers preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude for operating and troubleshooting cleaning and other equipment preferred
  • Technical aptitude for operating systems including climate control, alarms, data base, event planning, time keeping, MS Office, and other tools as assigned
  • Must be able to lift and load up to 50 pounds

WORK SCHEDULE

Works a flexible schedule including day and evening hours to ensure ministry needs are met. Expected to work minimum of 42 weekends per year. 

Classification: Non-Exempt; Hourly // Status: Part-time; 20 hours per week // Team: Facilities
