Position Overview:

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Front Desk Administrator to join our team. The Front Desk Administrator will be the first point of contact for patients, responsible for managing the front desk operations efficiently and ensuring a positive experience for all who visit or contact our office.

Responsibilities: This role requires a range of duties, including but not limited to,

- Greet patients and visitors in a welcoming and professional manner.

- Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations.

- Answer phone calls and emails promptly and courteously, addressing inquiries, scheduling appointments, and providing information as needed.

- Verify and submitting patient insurance claims and assist with billing and payment processing.

- Maintain patient records accurately and confidentially in our electronic system.

- Coordinate with dental hygienists and dentists to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations.

- Keep the reception area clean, organized, and presentable at all times.

- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or higher preferred.

- Prior experience in a dental office or healthcare setting is highly desirable.

- Proficiency in dental practice management software (e.g., Open Dental) preferred.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Strong customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction.

- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and administrative tasks.

- Professional demeanor and positive attitude.
