Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as the Director of Care. As the Director of Care, you will be responsible for overseeing the care and well-being of children in our facility. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, a passion for childcare, and the ability to create a nurturing and educational environment.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities for children

- Supervise and support a team of caregivers, providing guidance and training as needed

- Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations and safety protocols

- Maintain open communication with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns

- Create a positive and inclusive environment that promotes learning, socialization, and emotional development

- Manage daily operations, including scheduling, budgeting, and record-keeping

- Collaborate with other staff members to coordinate special events or programs

Requirements:

- Previous experience in childcare or related field (e.g., babysitting, classroom)

- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Familiarity with special education needs is a plus

- CPR/First Aid certification preferred

- Must have a genuine love for working with children

Pay: $43,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
