Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supplier Manager to join our team. The Supplier Manager will be responsible for managing and maintaining relationships with our suppliers, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality materials, and optimizing the supply chain process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, FDA regulations, and quality assurance. Duties: - Develop and implement supplier management strategies to ensure the availability of high-quality materials - Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of agreement - Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and FDA regulations - Identify potential risks in the supply chain process and develop contingency plans to mitigate those risks - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including process engineering, quality assurance, and production to drive continuous improvement initiatives - Conduct regular meetings with suppliers to review performance metrics, address any issues or concerns, and identify opportunities for improvement - Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact the supply chain process Skills: - Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices - Proficiency in AS400 or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems - Familiarity with FDA regulations and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) - Excellent negotiation and communication skills - Ability to analyze data using tools such as Minitab for statistical analysis - Knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) processes - Proven experience in supplier management and relationship building We offer competitive compensation packages and a comprehensive benefits package including medical/dental/vision insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
