E Logic is Hiring a Task Lead/Project Manager Naval Air Base Near Washington, DC

As the Task Lead / Project Manager at the Naval Air Base, you will be required to monitor and direct various projects and tasks with regards to the base running, infrastructure development and facility upgrade. You will be teaming up with military personnel, contractors, and other stakeholders by right-on time ensuring that through team effort projects will be completed within the scope, schedule, and budget while respecting safety and quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop project plans, timelines, and schedules in coordination with base leadership and stakeholders.
  • Identify project objectives, requirements, and deliverables to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Coordinate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to support project execution.
  • Lead and supervise a team of personnel assigned to project tasks, ensuring clear direction, accountability, and performance standards.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively, leveraging individual strengths and expertise within the team.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including military personnel, government agencies, and contractors.
  • Communicate project status, updates, and issues to stakeholders through regular meetings, reports, and presentations.
  • Foster positive relationships and collaboration with internal and external partners to support project success.
  • Manage project budgets, tracking expenditures, and ensuring cost control measures are in place.
  • Procure necessary resources, supplies, and services in accordance with procurement policies and procedures.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements while maintaining project quality and performance.
  • Implement quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure project deliverables meet established standards and specifications.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to monitor compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
  • Address safety concerns and hazards promptly, implementing corrective actions as necessary to mitigate risks.
  • Identify potential risks, issues, and obstacles that may impact project success, developing risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
  • Proactively address project challenges and conflicts, facilitating resolution through collaboration and negotiation.
  • Escalate significant issues or concerns to appropriate leadership for timely resolution and decision-making.

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting
  • 10 years relevant experience in Navy Financial Management (FM)
  • SME-level experience in Budgeting, Briefing, and Defense at the OPNAV and Congressional levels
  • 20 years relevant experience in Navy Financial Management (FM)
  • Demonstrated Experience balancing a complex multi-appropriation portfolio
  • Demonstrated Experience with cost/schedule performance as it relates to program execution.
  • Demonstrated Experience in task planning and its translation to program execution.
  • Demonstrated Experience working in a program office at Naval Sea Systems Command.

Requirements:

  • This position is onsite.
  • Secret Clearance is required.
  • We work with government entities and as part of the onboarding process is the signing of a letter of intent by the candidate.
  • Demonstrated Program Management Experience running a mixed team of subcontractors.
  • Conceptual Knowledge of U.S. Navy Undersea Warfare (USW) systems.
  • Demonstrated Knowledge of SHAPM/PARM working relationship.
  • Demonstrated Knowledge of DoD/DoN procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process) including Acquisition Plans (APs) and Acquisition Program Baselines (APBs).
  • Communication and Briefing Skills at the SES/Flag Level.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $109,705.80 - $114,705.80 per year
