E Logic is Hiring an Application Programmer II Near Washington, DC

The role of Application Programmer II involves designing, building, testing and maintaining software applications that are intended to support the day-to-day operations as well as the needs of the court research and trials. This position involves collaborating with business managers, analysts, and other IT professionals to study the requirements, design among other solutions and implement software systems that fit the organization. A Programmer II's role covers all aspects of the software development life cycle, such assuring the effectiveness and security of applications so that they are easy to use.

Responsibilities:

  • Measures SED responsiveness to requests for assistance.
  • Measurement of Tickets in JIRA – with sampling.
  • Resolution within 3 business days of request for assistance with tool(s).
  • Measures the timeliness and quality of addressing document security activities as specified in the system security plan.
  • Measurement/Inspection of Tickets in JIRA with sampling.
  • Measures the timeliness and quality of SED risk analysis white papers and other formal deliverables for judicial publication.
  • Measures the time from receipt of a traffic management request to approve/deny response.
  • Measure time to resolve secure coding tool issues.

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT-related field or at least 4 additional years of IT work experience.
  • At least a minimum of 10 years of experience in Cybersecurity area.
  • At least 7 years of experience in analysis including malware infections.
  • Ability to write malware to exploit newly discovered vulnerabilities.
  • Ability to identify systemic security issues based on the analysis of vulnerability and configuration data.
  • Demonstrate ability to perform a root cause analysis to address underlying issues. Demonstrate expert-level ability to conduct threat actor research.
  • Demonstrate expert-level ability to understand and identify vulnerabilities related to IPv4, IPv6, networks, systems, storage, and applications; advanced knowledge of network and system vulnerabilities.
  • Designs, develops, enhances, debugs, and implements software.
  • Troubleshoots production problems related to software applications.
  • Researches, tests, builds, and coordinates the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements.
  • Designs and develops new software products or major enhancements to existing software. Addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms.
  • Consults with project teams and end users to identify application requirements.
  • Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management.
  • Assists in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools.
  • Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
  • Ability to prepare and present briefings.
  • Ability to produce technical documentation.
  • Ability to identify critical infrastructure systems with information communication technology that were designed without system security considerations.

Requirements:

  • This position is onsite: Building One Columbus Circle, N.E., Washington, DC 20544.
  • Public Trust is required.
  • DoD 8570 Compliant CSSP Auditor is preferred.
  • DoD 8570 Compliant IAT II.
  • Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) or Offensive Security Web Expert Certification (OSWE).

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $122,388.13 - $127,388.13 per year
