JOB SUMMARY :

E-3 is currently seeking dedicated and motivated General Laborers to join our team. As a General Laborer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to general labor in telecommunication offices.

This is a full-time position that involves nation-wide travel, with an expectation to be on the road for 3-4 weeks at a time.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Clean and prepare construction sites
• Load, unload, and distribute building materials
• Collaborate with other workers, such as carpenters and finishers, as directed
• Assemble and dismantle scaffolding, shoring, braces, and other temporary structures
• Assist in the building and positioning of concrete forms
• Operate a variety of tools and small power equipment
• Ensure completed work assignments meet quality standards and adhere to the project schedule
• Conduct jobsite cleanup, managing rubble, and debris removal
• Maintain tools and materials onsite in a proper fashion
• Organize and clean the job site consistently
• Collaborate with the President and Superintendent to complete assigned duties
• Adhere to Scherer Construction / OSHA safety standards consistently

Additional Job Skills, Knowledge, Training, and Experience :

• Knowledge of various construction practices
• Proficient use of tools, equipment, machines, and materials in the trade
• Ability to follow directions and adhere to pre-established guidelines
• Mathematical skills necessary for measurements and calculations
• Team-oriented with effective interpersonal skills
• Problem-solving abilities and analytical mindset
• Excellent multitasking and prioritization skills to meet deadlines
• Self-motivated and able to maintain a positive attitude
