Dynamis Inc is Hiring a Project Control Analyst Near Falls, VA

Dynamis is seeking a Project Control Analyst to support the Corporate Operations team located at our corporate headquarters office in Falls Church, VA. The Project Control Analyst is responsible for providing analytical and reporting support to all projects across the business. The role will monitor key performance metrics, understand staffing and coverage, provide direct assistance to the line managers, and interface with senior leaders.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the project manager to ensure staffing plans and costs are up to date and within target goals.
  • Track and report revenue and profitability metrics against goals.
  • Serve as liaison and conduit for flow of financial information with project manager, Division Directors and corporate finance staff.
  • Interface with Accounting (Payroll, G/L and Accounts Payable) on all contract-related financial charges (labor, subcontractors, consultants, travel and material costs).
  • Work with Contracts/Subcontracts to track 75% threshold notifications, funding burns and needs, modification statuses, and funding of subcontractors.
  • Perform quality control checks to verify information entered in Unanet.
  • Support project leadership in the implementation of corrective actions based on identified metrics and variance analysis.
  • Assist in any organizational change management initiatives.
  • Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Monitor project execution, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget.
  • Develop project plans, including timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for projects.
  • Manages project status and information in the form of formal briefings, project update meetings, and metrics for the senior team.
  • Reviews and updates program management processes, dashboards, templates, policies, and metrics.
  • Track labor, Other Direct Costs (ODC), allowable, and unallowable across all contracts.
  • Other tasks as needed to help the team meet objectives and requirements.

Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Federal Government Contracting project control experience.
  • Unanet experience preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel.
  • Microsoft Office suite experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain security clearance.
