The Implementation Lead is responsible for the successful installation of the DX1 software platform. The Lead works closely with the Sales, Support, and Account Management teams to understand the needs of the dealer and will customize the on-boarding process accordingly. To enable a high quality implementation experience, the Lead coordinates the activities of select training and data migration experts. The Lead follows up with the customer after DX1 is installed to ensure that every employee at the dealership is proficient with the product and has a high level of satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a background in dealership software deployment or SaaS.

Group/Team Description: The Lead is a key member of the Implementation Team that includes training, data migration, and dealer department level functional experts.

Communication responsibilities: The Lead acts as the project manager and is the key point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders during the implementation process. This includes project milestones, the estimated timeline, and the specific deliverables for each member of the DX1 Implementation Team.

Major Responsibilities/Decisions:

• On site dealer training during the first days of system use. Monday-Friday travel in most cases.
• Managing multiple dealer implementation projects simultaneously
• Understanding new clients’ business needs as to offer the best solutions during the initial implementation and configuration processes
• Working cooperatively with new clients to efficiently execute project milestones
• Keeping all contributors informed of deliverables, expectations, and any changes to the original implementation plan; as well as tracking the overall progress of the implementation
• Diagnosing and solving problems as they arise during the implementation process, and always following up with the new client so they remain informed of any issues
• Actively driving the implementation process through communication, organization, and client management
• Ensuring the hand off between sales, account management, and the implementation team is seamless for our customers

Individual initiative expectations: Self-starter, proactive, creative, detailed-oriented, great communication and listening skills

Education required: BA or equivalent software company or dealership experience
