Dwellside Care & Rehab is expanding our staff and looking for compassionate and enthusiastic Dietary Aides to start as early as NEXT WEEK! The Dietary Aide is a hard-working individual who will embody our values and make a difference in one of our residents’ favorite moments… their fine dining experience!
Responsibilities:
- Assists in maintaining the dietary department safety and sanitary policy;
- Provides assistance to the Cook in the preparation and service of meals;
- Assists in monitoring quality of food supplies received and informs Dining Director of any issues
- Follows proper food handling techniques;
- Keeps work area clean and uncluttered;
- Keeps the dietary areas clean and free of clutter
- Assists in the preparation, serving meals and beverages;
- Sets and cleans dining tables and trays;
- Assists in dish and pan washing, storage, and cleaning duties;
- Assists with maintaining the security of the department;
- Alerts Dining Director of problems and makes recommendations about corrective action.
