Duvel Moortgat USA LTD is Hiring a Staff Accountant Near Kansas, MO
- Accurately and timely processes accounts payable and freight for several entities and vendors
- Establishes and maintains relationships with new and existing vendors
- Participates in the month-end close process
- Generates and posts journal entries
- Completes balance sheet account reconciliations
- Identifies opportunities for process improvement and works with others as necessary to improve processes
- Assist with the annual audit and requests from audit staff
- Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis as requested
- A degree in finance, accounting, business or related field
- 1-3 years relevant accounting experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, lookups and charts a plus!)
- Experience with intercompany accounting a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Navision and Business Central a plus
- Experience with electronic payment systems a plus
- Strong attention to detail
- Organized and proactive work approach
- Passion for continuous improvement
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Self-motivation and ability to work independently and with limited direction
- Ability to collaborate and work well with management, peers and across functions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
