Duvall Homes is Hiring a Caregiver Near De Land, FL

Job Description:

  • Assists residents with personal hygiene, dressing, feeding, transferring or ambulating
  • Assures residents basic needs are met
  • Provides nurturing environment with intensive supervision
  • Utilizes behavior management techniques appropriately
  • Models healthy interactions and respectful communication with residents
  • Maintains communication with staff members through written and verbal shift change methods
  • Completes all residents reports, plans and records in a timely manner in accordance with program procedures and funding standards

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • Minimum 1 years paid experience as a caregiver
  • Valid Florida driver’s license
  • Minimum age 21 years
  • Level II FBI fingerprint background & Drug Screening
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds

Benefits:

  • All employees are eligible to participate in our 403(b) Retirement Plan
  • 2nd, or 3rd shift including nights and weekends
  • Shift Premium: 2nd shift additional $0.50 per hour, 3rd shift additional $1 per hour
  • Company benefits for full time DSP’s include medical, dental, vision and life insurance, STD/LTD and Paid Time Off

Pay: $15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
