Job Summary: 

Durst Image Technology is looking for IT Specialist responsible for supporting its critical IT infrastructure and corporate network consisting of SAN/NAS, VMware vSphere Client version 7.0.3, Dell EMC Unity storage and 15 virtual machines, running Windows 2016/2019 OS. You will provide technical support to end users located in multiple locations. The responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving end user technical issues, maintaining company desktop and server systems, and the enterprise network infrastructure. This position may require travel to multiple business locations.

Skills & Responsibilities: 

The most important skills are a combination of customer service and excellent technical/troubleshooting. The ability to prioritize tasks is critical in this role. Outstanding verbal/written communication skills are also very important. Candidates should be proactive whenever possible and be prepared to be reactive when problems occur. Ideal candidates will know that no problem is too small or too large to be accomplished. To perform this job successfully, the IT Specialist must be able to perform the following responsibilities reliably.

  • Assist with the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of end user computer hardware, software, printing, scanning and peripheral devices.

  • Provide end user support for local and remote users 

  • Administer system backup and recovery processes utilizing Unitrends & Veeam software. solutions in accordance with Durst disaster recovery and business continuity plans. 

  • Participate in planning, design, and implementation for IT solutions in variety of technologies. 

  • Administer user accounts, groups, and permissions. 

  • Manage DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, Windows Server 2016/2019, VMware/vSphere, Dell EMC Storage, O365, Windows and Mac operating systems. 

  • Maintain all aspects of the physical network WAN/LAN including cabling, switches, routers, firewall, and VPN. 

  • Maintain and patch VMWare ESXi hosts and vCenter server.

  • Monitor systems, safeguard user up-time, and perform daily security and compliance tasks. 

  • Administer Microsoft Office 365 and Exchange Server. 

  • Assists with other duties as needed. 

  • Position requires periodic after-hours availability. 

  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds. 

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in the field of Information Technology or Management Information Systems and/or 2-3 years’ experience or equivalent.
