Inventory Control Technician

Duro-Last Roofing, the world's largest manufacturer of prefabricated roofing systems, has a full-time opening for an Inventory Control Technician in their Shipping Department.

The position is located at our plant in Carrollton, TX.

Position Responsibilities :

• Verify all transfer documentation that is received into warehouse
• Accurately post inventory transactions for warehouse
• Perform cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy
• Investigate and resolve negative balances and all other inventory discrepancies
• Perform verifications of data entered by other employees
• Conduct month end material count and be a key player for year-end physical inventory count
• Monitor inventory levels, order materials as needed and process all returns
• Creating and Maintaining shop orders
• Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements :

• Must have at least a high school diploma or GED
• Experience with bar-coding preferred
• Must be accurate and have a high attention to detail
• Experience with cycle counts and year / month-end inventory
• Self-motivated and a team player
• Excellent clerical skills to include MS Excel / Word and AS-400 Mapics experience desired
• Excellent written / verbal communication skills as well as excellent math skills
• Must be flexible with hours and able to work overtime
• Must have or be able to obtain a forklift certification
