General Purpose:

This hourly, non-exempt position will be responsible for managing the corporate cash disbursement process, reviewing and processing direct payment of invoices, check requests, freight invoices, employee expense reports, and inter-company invoices for corporate office and multi-plant locations, and weekly processing of checks and ACH payments for all locations.

Essential Functions:

Responsibilities that are requirements in order to perform the job:

Manage the corporate cash disbursement process

• Review and process direct payment of invoices, check requests, freight invoices, employee expense reports and inter-company invoices for corporate office and multi-plant locations
• Review and process checks and ACH payments for all locations on a weekly basis
• Communicate directly with vendors and plant personnel regarding AP issues
• Review vendor statements for accuracy resolving discrepancies if needed
• Complete quarterly sales tax payments of non-taxed purchases
• Act as the co-administrator over the corporate P-card program
• Manage and reconcile P-card accounts and payment of all monthly charges
• Maintain monthly employee P-card reconciliations and support
• Analyze and manage AP related accounts
• Review and clear GR-IR accounts
• Prepare month-end journal entries, GL reconciliations, prepare monthly prepaid software amortizations
• Provide monthly reports to SBJ
• Act as Facility Site Records Coordinator for corporate office records and information management
• Maintain Iron Mountain storage inventory
• Prepare 1099’s for all locations on an annual basis
• Prepare analysis and support for the annual financial and JSOX audits
• Prepare oversight, advise and direct AP clerks at subsidiary locations

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation:

• Proficient communication, interpersonal and organizational skills are vital to the role
• Knowledge of accounting principles, practices and applications
• Knowledge of analysis techniques and a strong attention to detail
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
• Advanced knowledge of SAP

Education/Experience Guidelines:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting required
• Four to six years related experience in finance, accounting and/or accounts payable
• Experience participating in audits performed by external audit firms
