Starts inApril/May 2024. We are looking for reliable and engaging people who will help deliver a memorable experience to our guests while booking their experiences with Durango Rivertrippers. We are seeking energetic and passionate candidates who share a common love and respect for the outdoors and can offer our guests a unique and unforgettable experience while maintaining the highest quality of customer service. This is a sales-centric position with daily, weekly, and bi-weekly sales goals/KPIs.

Our season is April-September or something close depending on the candidate.

The job involves 6-9 hour workdays, and the position does involve weekend shifts split with other team members, as our company operates seven 7 days a week. We are looking for part-time and full-time team members.

As a Reservationist you will be responsible for:

• working towards daily sales goals
• Excellent public speaking and communication skills.
• Answering the phones and checking our live chats, and emails.
• Learn and understand our booking platforms.
• Taking reservations in person and over the phone.
• Monitoring bookings and making adjustments accordingly.
• Stay up to date on all trip details and durations.
• Work independently and as a member of a team.
• Utilize skills related to customer service.
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn and expand personal and professional boundaries.
• Ability to perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Preferred

• 2 years of sales experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Computer navigation skills.

Compensation:

The hourly rate for this position ranges between $17-$19 per hour. This range is based on potential employee qualifications, skills, and operational needs.
