As a Strategy, Business Operations, & Corporate Development Manager at Duolingo, you will play a key role in shaping Duolingo's path towards becoming a 100-year company.
You will:

• Opportunity expansion and market analysis: Perform industry research to identify compelling opportunities that support Duolingo's strategic priorities, including prioritizing the breadth and depth of market understanding required to make thoughtful decisions
• Strategy development: Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to combine market understanding, customer insight, and product vision into strategies that drive value for Duolingo's mission
• Company planning and operations: Support quarterly and annual planning processes, manage our all-hands communications fora, and help tell the story of our company strategy to employees at all levels of the company

What we're looking for:

• 3 years of professional experience
• Strong business judgment: ability to approach complex business problems in a structured way and drive rapidly towards insight
• Outstanding and demonstrated research, analysis and written and verbal communication skills
• Strong people leadership skills, including a demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
• Fast, flexible, and outcomes-oriented: able and excited to thrive with rapid cycles of analysis, decision, and action

Outstanding candidates will have:

• Experience in a strategy function, strategy consulting, or strategic corporate development
• Strong knowledge of the consumer tech industry (education experience also a plus but not required)
• Experience leading cross-functional projects in a high-growth environment

We invest in and support our Duos! This role is eligible for a robust compensation package of base salary, equity, and Duolingo's world-class benefits. The starting base salary range for this role is, $91,400 - $191,000. Actual salary may vary based on level, work experience, performance, and other factors evaluated during the hiring process.
