About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for its Physicians Group. The CFO will be responsible for the financial operations and strategies of the multi-specialty medical group, which includes over 1,200 employed physicians across three hospital campuses and numerous ambulatory settings. This role is pivotal in overseeing financial accounting and reporting, financial planning and analysis, project management, operational efficiency, provider compensation, and benchmarking. The CFO will also be involved in strategic financial planning, aligning financial goals with organizational objectives, and mitigating financial risks.Candidates for the CFO position should have a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a relevant field, with at least 10 years' of experience, including 5 years' in a senior healthcare finance position. An advanced degree and experience in an academic healthcare system are preferred. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial management in a multi-specialty medical group, be well-versed in regulatory compliance, and possess advanced problem-solving, analytical, interpersonal, and leadership skills. The CFO will be expected to lead a finance team, promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, and effectively communicate financial performance and strategies to stakeholders.
