A Research Analyst position is available at the Duke University Department of Ophthalmology to provide engineering support for research and clinical trial study activities involving novel ophthalmic imaging technology.
Job responsibilities include:
JOB REQUIREMENTS
This Research Analyst position requires a Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, computer science, electrical engineering or comparable field of study. Master’s and PhD level will also be considered.
The candidate should have keen attention to detail and have an understanding/or be willing to learn and follow Good Clinical Practices, Duke guidelines and Federal rules and regulations relating to human subject research. This position will be fully trained in the relevant computing and operational protocols for the research OCT systems.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Work requires a bachelor's degree in botany, biology, zoology, psychology or other directly related scientific field.
Experience
Work requires two years of research experience. A related master's degree may offset required years of experience on a 1:1 basis, e.g., a two year master's degree in lieu of two years of experience.
