The Duke University Libraries and the Duke University Press are seeking a frontline fundraiser to join its Development team as we prepare for the public phase of a university-wide comprehensive fundraising campaign. The Associate Director will identify and develop relationships with prospects and donors through individual outreach (virtual and in-person), spending 75% of time focusing on Duke University Libraries and 25% of time focusing on Duke University Press.
The ideal candidate will be motivated, professional, strategic, and results-driven. We’re looking for someone who believes in the missions of Duke University and has exceptional drive to advance our office’s fundraising efforts.

Required: Work requires five years’ experience in alumni affairs, public relations, fundraising, sales and promotions, marketing, student activities or a related field to acquire skills necessary to administer, coordinate and/or participate in general fundraising activities and proposal development. Salary and Benefits
Salary dependent on qualifications and experience; anticipated salary range $70,000-$90,000. Comprehensive benefits package includes 15 days vacation, 14 holidays, 12 days sick leave; health, dental, disability and life insurance and support for professional development and training.
