Duke City Recovery Toolbox is looking for a Medical Billing Specialist for our billing department. We are looking for someone who is interested in a Full time Position.

Shift Hours Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm

Billing Specialist to complete the following tasks:

Prepare and submit clean claims to various insurance companies either electronically or by paper after thorough review. Bill all services provided per billing rules. Follow up and report status of delinquent accounts. Perform daily spreadsheets for back up on office computer. Conduct themselves in accordance with the employee manual and maintains strictest confidentiality; will adhere to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations. Verify all patients insurance coverage upon intake and at the beginning of each month. Post patient payments from various insurance companies, to appropriate claims. Audit patient accounts for reimbursements. Resolve conflicts regarding payment and reimbursements. Prepare paperwork of patient refund checks. Investigate rejected claims for reasoning of denial, ensuring that the facility is reimbursed for all services provided. Monitor patient accounts. Pays close attention to many details in order to translate records precisely and accurately. Knowledge of insurance guidelines especially Medicaid and Commercial Insurance. Must be comfortable in a fast paced work environment, have good computer skills, and be able to multi-task. Experienced denial specialists are highly encouraged to apply.
