Duke City Primary Care is Hiring a Call Center Representative - DCPC Near Albuquerque, NM

Duke City Primary Care is looking to add a few exceptional people to our team! We're looking for a full time Call Center Receptionist in our Albuquerque clinics to support our commitment to offering fast, friendly, quality care to the residents of New Mexico. Job Summary
The Call Center Position is responsible for taking incoming calls from patients, scheduling appointments, office tasks, and generating outgoing calls. Additional duties may be required.

Responsibilities

* Using excellent customer service skills, answer incoming calls, book patient appointments, interact with other provider offices, insurance companies and other health care industry vendors.

* Answer phone promptly and in a polite and professional manner.

* Obtain and enter accurate demographic information into our EHR (address, phone number, emergency contact info, alternative phone number, insurance information, etc.)

* Inform caller of items to bring to appointment.

* Remind caller to arrive 15 to 30 minutes prior to appointment to complete pre-registration process.

* Act as a liaison for the patients to the clinics.

* Direct calls to other departments as needed and only as a last resort

* Use sound judgment and patience in handling calls, especially with upset patients.

* Accurately document patient concerns, messages and appointment details electronically using proper grammar and spelling with close attention to detail.

* Make appointment reminder calls as requested.

* Provide assistance with mailings to patients or other projects as call volume permits.

* Proactively manage provider's schedules to ensure appointments are booked according to established clinic protocol, seeking ways to ensure patients are seen in a timely manner and reducing gaps in a provider's schedule.

* Help index patient records as call volume permits.

* Display a positive and professional demeanor in all interactions, including but not limited to: patients and their family members, medical and clinic staff, coworkers, and vendors.

* Maintain highest levels of confidentiality, protecting all protected health information according to HIPAA regulations.

* Consistently demonstrate the ability to multi-task, performing both front office duties and answering phones throughout the day.

* Perform related work as assigned.

Education/License Requirements

* High School Diploma or GED

Qualifications and Experience

* 1 year experience in the medical field and customer service environment

* Excellent customer service and communications skills

* Ability to present self in a professional manner and represent the company

* Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment effectively and positively, and achieve objectives

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
