The Registered Nurse independently implements the nursing process and administers skilled professional nursing services, care, and leadership while providing, delegating, evaluating and coordinating comprehensive professional nursing care. This person will be responsible for the assessing, planning, securing and delivery of health and habilitation supports for individuals, and will accept responsibility for the direction, monitoring, and delegation of activities related to the provision of medication and additional activities by medication aides. Job Description: As an RN with Duet, you will be responsible for overseeing the skilled nursing care of 6 adults with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. You will also supervise the staff on your shift. Not your standard healthcare setting! This is a small group home where you will be able to build lasting relationships with those in service with us! A Day in the Life: Build relationships through providing skilled nursing care for 6 adults with developmental disabilities (DD) Assist with activities of daily living Assess, plan, and implement the care of people we support Administering medications as needed Documenting behaviors and implementing behavioral plans For the safety of those we serve, we ask that you have the following: State of NE RN license A valid Driver’s License in good standing Experience working with the DD population preferred (not required) Be able to pass a physical (including lifting 70 pounds) and a drug screen Passion about our mission and the individuals we serve!
