- Assist with the daily tasting room set-up being proficient in both opening and closing procedures.
- Possess knowledge of food safety/handling and a willingness to learn.
- Perform food preparation, including slicing, plating/presentation, and storage.
- Bus tables and maintain general cleanliness of Visitor Center to include kitchens and indoor/outdoor tasting areas.
- Assist with cleaning glassware, plates, etc.
- Set up seated tastings, private and VIP tastings.
- Maintain and organize “tax-paid” wine storage areas, communicating low inventory levels to management.
- Unload and re-stock wine deliveries and recycle corrugated boxes and glass.
- Restock non-wine inventory in the retail room with efficiency.
- Assist Wine Specialists with packing wine sales and carrying wine to guest vehicles.
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills.
- Basic computer skills, including POS and reservation systems.
- Ability to work weekends and select holidays.
- Valid Driver's License and insurable MVR.
- Ability to lift up to 42 lbs. repeatedly.
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time.
