Dubols Home Care is Hiring a Home Care Registered Nurse PRN (PT) Near Laurel, MD

Registered Nurse (RN) PRN or part-time RNs for Home Care visits in Prince George's County, Montgomery County, and Howard County.

PART TIME starting at $45k annually Gas Reimbursement additional $2,700. nontaxable!
3 days a week: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
5 patients each day.
PRN = 2-10 visits weekly variable.
No Nights! No Weekends!

We are looking for Registered Nurses to join us in providing excellent and compassionate health care to our home-bound clients. If you are a strong self-starter, ready to enjoy flexibility in your schedule, autonomy, and pleasant home visits where the clients are the most relaxed – then we welcome you!

When clients come home after a stay in the hospital, a Dubol's Home Care nurse arrives the very next day to begin care. The RN will create the plan of care, maintain accurate patient records, administer medication monitor for side effects, record vital signs, and report symptoms and changes in patient conditions. An LPN on your team will follow your "plan of care" for many of your patients to maintain your plan.

Your working hours will be according to your work-life balance needs. All our nurses see clients between 8:00 AM-5:00 PM on weekdays. No nights and no weekends! Our schedulers will keep your clients in your preferred area to keep your driving time between clients as short as possible.

A professional, friendly attitude and effective communication skills are keys to success in this role.

Registered Nurse Responsibilities:

Creating "Start of Care" plans.
Maintaining accurate, complete health care records and reports.
Administering medications to patients and monitoring them for side effects and reactions.
Prescribing assistive medical devices and related treatments.
Recording patient vital signs and medical information.
Monitoring, reporting, and recording symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
Modifying patient health treatment plans as indicated by patient conditions and responses.
Staying in communication with the team members and occasionally providing friendly oversight of other clinicians like LPNs, Physical Therapists, and Home Health Aides.

Registered Nurse Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in nursing.
Current state license as a registered nurse.
Driver’s License and own car.
Ability to communicate well in English.
Ability to effectively communicate with clients, families, physicians, and staff.
Basic computer skills.
Professional, friendly attitude.
Experience in the ER or Med-Surg is preferred. Experience in Home Care is a plus.
An earnest desire to help clients heal at home.
