DTC Communications is seeking an experienced, skilled, and motivated individual to join our team as a Lineman. This position requires strong technical skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team to ensure the seamless operation of the outside plant infrastructure to deliver reliable connectivity to our customers and communities.

The Lineman installs, repairs, and removes aerial and buried cable. Installs and maintains pedestals, poles, carrier sites, and equipment at customer locations. Maintains right of ways and maintenance of the outside plant. Duties include climbing poles, operating bucket trucks, trenching, and utilizing various hand and power tools to complete projects safely and efficiently. This position is required to work at heights and in various weather conditions and respond to emergencies as needed.

In addition to strong motivational and technical skills with a commitment to safety, the ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent. Prior pole climbing and line construction experience is preferred. A commercial driver’s license is required or must be obtained within 12 months from date of hire.
