The RBC Operations Leader provides direction and leadership for operations, and inventory planning, for RBC Life. This position acts as the key point of contact for inventory control, shipping & receiving of products. This position will collaborate closely with other leaders in the areas of sales, marketing, customer service, finance and marketing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Operations Leader will establish, monitor, and modify the production schedule to ensure the most efficient workflow and cost-effectiveness of delivering on time products. Oversees day-to-day operations to ensure smooth progress, working closely with all departments to ensure productivity and efficiency. Ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations issued by OSHA, EPA, EEOC and other local, state and federal regulatory agencies.
· Monitors and keeps the executive team fully informed of the on-going operations performance of the day-to-day business
· Responds quickly to feedback) in identifying the nature and source of any issues/problems and the required corrective actions to resolve them
· Monitors performance and ensures successful management of operational processes and continually suggests & makes improvements
· Formulates sustainable inventory planning, analyzing projections and production constraints to achieve optimum inventory levels with a timely sell through
· Manages product registration, in collaboration with regulatory staff and other legal requirements
· Responsible for maintaining close communication and coordination of various supporting departments
· Values and contributes to positive customer service efforts for internal and external contacts
· Manages projects with a strong attention to detail, ensuring that projects meet budgets and timelines
· Oversees logistics and shipping, continually improves the process for maximum profits
· Performs projects or additional duties as assigned by the president and DSS Management
Requirements
· Experience in an operations, procurement, or supply chain role highly desirable
· Previous experience with consumer products or direct selling highly desirable.
· Must possess outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills and work well within a direct selling environment shifting from traditional direct selling to an affiliate model
· Proven project management experience, high level financial acumen (P&L, COGS, SGA)
· Ability to collaborate and coordinate extremely well with all departments and all levels of staff
· Strong problems solving, analytical and conflict management skills
· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, as well as verbal and written communication skills
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent related work experience preferred
