Location:
Sanford facility. Hybrid 2days per week after training. 6am for training (1-2months). Friday is half a day. 40-45 hr work week. Overtime will be approved. Workload will determine start time.

Position’s Contributions to Work Group:
Be a part of a team responsible for collaborating with suppliers to ensure material availability in a high pace manufacturing environment. Accountable for managing and analyzing $1M-$8M of inventory for opportunities to eliminate waste and optimize inventory. Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to achieve inventory objectives.
Typical task breakdown:
-Resolving all grief issues
-Determining necessary action needed to successfully correct the problem
-Making numerous contacts by phone, fax or email, to all parties involved in order to enter shipments and final receipts
-Following up on orders not received per customer's request
-Communicating with customer regarding status of order
-Performing order revisions as necessary, including price adjustments, changing/adding schedules, opening/closing purchase orders, etc.
-Analyzing and confirming the correctness of customer orders
-Performing the setup of new supplier and customer information
-Analyzing sources, verifying, and processing orders, and Serving as a specialist within the group and providing interpretation and problem
-solving advice to others inside and outside of the department.
Interaction with team:
- Work on a team of 9 people. Onsite training is required for the first month then can transition to a hybrid role after completion of training.
Work environment:
Hybrid work from home and on site at HF Client building in Sanford NC.
Education & Experience Required:
-4 yr BA/BS degree, 2 yr associates degree, or 5 years of relevant, job-related experience. APICS CPIM, CSCP, or CLTD Certifications are a plus
Technical Skills
- Microsoft Excel experience required. Knowledge of various purchasing and MRP systems. Demonstrated experience in adhering to guidelines and/or procedures. Ability to collect and filter information to achieve optimal decisions using critical thinking. Quickly and accurately recall the specifics to situations. Communicate effectively with succinct, but detailed emails; clear, accurate message over the phone or short sheet meetings. Collaborate with internal and external customers to resolve problems.
Soft Skills
Displays discipline and independent workload management.
