This role ensures safety and regulatory compliance within all areas of manufacturing. First and Second shift are available!
The Food Safety and Quality Supervisor should have the following qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience working within manufacturing environments
- Strong knowledge of FDA regulations governing GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) programs.
The Food Safety and Quality Supervisor will be responsible for :
- Maintaining compliance with state / federal guidelines regarding product testing / sampling protocol
- Collaborating closely alongside senior management staff members daily concerning plant performance targets / goals
- Managing workforce training sessions around company policies / procedures relating to health codes / hygiene best practice etc.
