DSJ Global is Hiring a Refrigeration Supervisor Near Indianapolis, IN

Having been in the food industry for over 100 years, this food manufacturing company is well-established and continuing to grow! They are looking for a Utilities Supervisor to join the team in Indiana.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the Refrigeration Group to lead refrigeration, steam, process equipment and wastewater discharge systems
Support facility requirements
Update work order system that tracks equipment parts/supplies
Document safety and sanitation procedures
Oversee the preventative maintenance program by reviewing PM Reports/schedules to ensure equipment operates effectively
Take place in in training programs to enhance knowledge of industry and management skills
Maintain a clean and hazard free work environment for all employees
Conduct classes on OSHA programs, covering material such as MSDS & LOTO
Work closely with Facilities Manager in expense budgeting for financial year, manpower requirements, etc.
Maintain company Provisions and PSM standards
Direct activities for the mechanics to ensure job is performed properly and timely with adequate follow up

Requirements:

5-7 years of work experience in a supervisory position
Associate's Degree level of education or 10 years of relevant work experience in a similar role
Knowledge of process equipment maintenance & PSM systems
Experience with HVAC
Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems and compressed air
Exensive experience with steam generation systems and wastewater
Hazmat/HAZWOPER exposure
PSM certification required
CIRO certification preferred
Knowledge of HVAC
Emergency electrical generator and switchgear systems experience
Oral and written communication skills
Operators I, II and II certifications preferred
Physical capability to lift up to 30 pounds
