ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
- Utilize SAP to open orders, close orders, process scrap, run queries, and reports.
- Estimates production time for each order considering availability of machines, material and tooling, number of operations involved, manufacturing backlog, order quantity, complexity of product.
- Coordinates interdepartmental activity with Quality, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Engineering, and Inventory Control
- Communicate with Customer Service, Manufacturing and Planning, daily, regarding identified concerns with material/component availability, equipment failures, customer demands, engineering changes, and deviations that impact the attainment of the production schedules.
- Analyze material needs and order materials (Sheets) accordingly
- Analyze work center load and advise Planning and Manufacturing management of staffing or other constraints.
- Balances conflicting objectives of efficient manufacturing and labor, material to develop the production plan.
- Continue improve planning process to achieve shipping performance, inventory turns, and manufacturing costs, support facility related projects.
- Prepare status and performance reports and resolve production issues

Required- Associates or better in Business or related field
