Minimum of 5 years successful teaching experience. Hold a valid certified Tennessee License. Highly qualified in reading and/or math instruction. Competence with intensive intervention. Deep content knowledge in assigned subject and capable of implementing TN State Standards. Proficient in data interpretation. Must maintain regular attendance. Must be able to interact with students.
Hold an associates degree or higher. OR *Have an equivalent of two years of college coursework totaling 48 hours at an accredited institution of higher learning. OR *Pass the Education Testing Service (ETS) Para-Pro Assessment. Working computer knowledge. Multi-tasked oriented, Firm, Team Player. Must be able to work with small groups of students for the purpose of reinforcing skills, answering questions, providing constructive academic feedback....
