Drug Abuse Alternatives Center is Hiring a Regional Director (FT) Near Santa Rosa, CA

The Drug Abuse Alternatives Center (Center Point DAAC) is seeking a Regional Director to lead the Agency in Santa Rosa.
Drug Abuse Alternatives Center is the lead provider of Substance Abuse services in Sonoma County for over 50 years. The agency is seeking a Regional Director to provide direct oversight of the agency’s operations to include: 
  • Drug Court Services
  • Residential SUD services
  • Outpatient Services
  • Medication Assisted Treatment
  • Perinatal Services
  • Adolescent Services
  • Transitional Housing Services
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  • Understand the Drug Medi-Cal System
  • Ensures that all contractual obligations of the agency are meeting the terms that have been negotiated
  • Knowledge of CARF and the accreditation process
  • Confers with the Executive Vice President to develop strategies to establish responsibilities and procedures for achieving objectives, developing organizational policies, and coordinating activities and operations between the various units.
  • Reviews activity reports and financial statements to determine progress toward objectives; revises plans in accordance with current conditions.
  • Administers agency industrial, labor, Human Resources, and public relations activities and policies.
  • Reviews personnel performance for compliance with established policies, procedures, and objectives.
  • Supervises clinical policies and operations, and quality assurance reviews.
  • Coordinates staff training, and reviews staff evaluations; conducts the hiring, promotion, and discharge of employees.
  • Serves as liaison to Board Committees.
  • Reviews and approves invoices for payment.
  • Supervises evaluation, research, and grant writing activities.
  • Analyzes data collected throughout the agency; present recommendations for changes, additions, deletions, and implementation.
  • Develops new funding resources and completes applications for funding.
  • Assures compliance with all federal, state, and county regulations including building and fire codes.
  • Reads, reviews, and summarizes regulations and codebooks related to the operation of CPINC services.
  • Reviews written reports, narrative, and statistical reports.
  • Develops, implements, and monitors clinical and behavioral treatment strategies for program participants.
  • Oversees the delivery of client-center interventions.
  • Monitors and ensures the renewal of all licenses and certification standards for all program sites and services.
BUDGET AND MANAGEMENT:
  • Leads the oversight for the accurate development and supervision of the annual agency and program budgets
  • Maintains a positive cash flow, a balanced budget 
  • Oversees the implementation of capital improvement projects
  • Oversees the implementation of monitored purchasing and expenditure.
  • Responsible for the development and maintenance of adequate funding sources.
  • Works with the Center Point DAAC Board in contract negotiation, purchase agreements and leases, 
  • Provides monthly financial reports to the Board of Directors in conjunction with the agency controller.
  • Meets regularly with Services Directors and agency Controller to proactively plan and monitor ongoing compliance with budgets.
  • Provides oversight on reports as required by funding sources and government agencies.
  • Communicates budget expectations, information and transparency to all levels of staff.
  • Works in conjunction with the board of directors on fundraising initiatives.
  • Participates with local, state, and federal substance abuse treatment stakeholders in order to market Center Point DAAC’s services and promote future stability.
  • Proactively seeks funding opportunities in conjunction with the board.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
  • At least five (5) years of demonstrated experience in non-profit senior management.
  • Demonstrated experience working with the criminal justice and health delivery systems.
  • Demonstrated success in establishing and maintaining effective internal and external relationships.
  • Demonstrated experience in supervising writing grants and proposals, actively soliciting funds and collaborating in budget preparation
  • Knowledge of addiction and state standards for Drug and Alcohol Treatment.
  • The state of California recognized Alcohol and Drug Certification. 
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • History of productive work relationships with employees, management and outside agencies.
  • Demonstrated strength in leading and motivating people.
  • Demonstrated a history of effective problem-solving.
  • Demonstrated success in communicating effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • At least five (5) years of demonstrated experience in the provision of clinical services.
