Drug Abuse Alternatives Center is Hiring a Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant (PT) Near Santa Rosa, CA
Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant
- 20 hours per week, M-F - Early AMs required.
- Job Type: Part-time.
Job Description:
Center Point DAAC (Drug Abuse Alternatives Center), is seeking a part-time licensed Nurse Practitioner or licensed Physician's Assistant to work in our Methadone Maintenance and Detoxification Program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Performs Medical History and Physical Examinations for all clients enrolling in the program.
- Performs methadone dosing, inventory control, and client medication orders as part of the Dispensing Team.
- Coordinates with Medical Director on intake and initial physician orders.
- Performs PPDs and conducts follow-ups on positive tests.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current license as a Family Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician's Assistant.
- Education and/or experience demonstrating basic knowledge of addiction and treatment.
