Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in masonry construction and the ability to provide accurate project estimates. The ideal candidate will oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of specific short-term projects which have a beginning, an end, and specified deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
-Plan and implement projects.
- Help define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Define tasks and required resources.
- Create a budget based on the scope of work and resource requirements.
- Provide detailed estimates and negotiate contract terms with clients.
- Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals.
- Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis.
- Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients and other staff members.
- Use project management tools to monitor working hours, budget, plans, and money spent.
- Issue all appropriate legal paperwork (e.g., contracts and terms of agreement).- Lead quality assurance.
- Monitor and report on project progress.
- Present to stakeholders reports on progress as well as problems and solutions.- Implement and manage changes when necessary to meet project outputs.
- Evaluate and assess the result of the project.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven working experience in project management in the construction sector.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools.
- PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus.
- Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in strategic planning, risk management, and/or change management.
- Proficiency in project management software tools.
