Job Overview:

Godfathers Pizza in Detroit Lakes, MN is seeking a dedicated Front of House Manager to oversee the daily customer service operations of our restaurant! Supervisors are responsible for ensuring all prepared products meet the restaurant standards of quality and excellence. The ideal candidate will be energetic, friendly, honest and have a passion for hospitality and customer service, to ensure a seamless dining experience for our guests! Part-Time or Full-Time position, depending on availability. Must be at least 18 years old.

Work Days: Wednesday through Sunday

Work Schedule: Four 8-hour shifts per week; mornings, evenings & weekends

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage and lead the front of house staff, including runners and bussers
  • Greeting guests as they enter the restaurant in a friendly, genuine manner
  • Initiate and complete customer transactions quickly and accurately to maintain an accurate cash drawer throughout shifts
  • Operate and maintain food/drink/treat related equipment and registers properly and safely
  • Collaborate with the kitchen staff, runners and bussers to maintain efficient service flow
  • Prepare products quickly and accurately, while following all preparation, health and safety standards and guidelines accordingly
  • Assemble and deliver orders to customers quickly and efficiently
  • Monitor inventory levels for front of house supplies by rotating and restocking as needed
  • Complete assigned prep work and setup of work area
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and resolve any guest concerns or complaints
  • Inform immediate supervisor promptly of all problems or unusual matters of significance that cannot be easily resolved
  • Train new employees on restaurant policies and procedures
  • Keep entire work area clean and sanitary throughout shifts
  • Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area and restrooms, including washing and sanitizing surfaces, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, taking out trash, stocking supplies, and other cleaning tasks
  • Work as a team member to ensure constant and consistent quality, service, cleanliness and value to each customer
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested by management

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting, preferred
  • Prior management experience, preferred
  • Knowledge of safe food handling practices, preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, required
  • Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
  • Customer-oriented and positive attitude
  • Trustworthy, respectful and honest
  • Hard working and dependable
  • Prioritization and time management
  • Working quickly without compromising quality
  • Ability to take direction from supervisors
  • Ability to work as a member of a team

Educational Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent General Education Diploma
  • General math and writing skills

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, lift, reach, walk, bend, and kneel.
  • Ability to use both hands and arms to lift and reach.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Other Requirements:

  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Reliable Transportation
  • Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English
  • Ability to perform all essential functions of the position
  • Morning, Evening and Weekend availability
