At Drive Rite Academy, New York's premier driving school, we're looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Fleet Assistant to ensure our fleet of vehicles is always running smoothly, looking sharp, and ready to go. What You'll Do:

• Keep our fleet looking pristine by scheduling and coordinating regular car washes across all branches.
• Manage vehicle inspections and ensure our fleet meets all state regulations and standards.
• Work closely with mechanics to schedule repairs and maintain our vehicles in top-notch condition.
• Monitor and troubleshoot our fleet management software to keep things running without a hitch.
• Handle the logistics of vehicle parking to comply with local regulations, optimizing our daily operations.
• Perform hands-on inspections to catch any potential issues early, ensuring safety and reliability.
• You will be required to perform minor maintenance/repair tasks with our vehicles such as changing tires, changing light bulbs, and changing wipers.
• On occasion, you make be asked to provide our students with transportation to DMV road tests.
• Facilitate vehicle movements across different locations, ensuring operational efficiency.

Who We’re Looking For:

• You have at least 2 years of experience in fleet management or a transportation-related role.
• You're a pro at organizing, solving problems, and juggling multiple tasks at once.
• You know your way around vehicle maintenance and are eager to learn new things.
• You're up-to-date with local driving laws and requirements.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license for at least 2 years and have a clean driving record.

Pay: $20.69 - $24.92 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
