Driftwood Hospitality is Hiring a Restaurant Busser Near Osage, MO

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS This description is a summary of primary responsibilities and qualifications. The job description is not intended to include all duties or qualifications that may be required now or in the future. The Hotel operates 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, so operational demands require variations in shift days, starting times, and hours worked in a week.Ensure all details are followed according to supervisor’s instructionsProvide guests with the finest quality of service at all times in a warm and friendly mannerEnsure the work area is maintained in a clean, organized, and safe conditionMust be able to pass “Responsible Beverage Service Training” per state of Missouri requirementsHave a thorough knowledge of resort restaurant food and beverage preparationObserve behavior of guests who are consuming alcoholic beverages, count number of drinks served, if needed notify supervisor or manager for assistance in “cutting off” the guestEnsure service area is cleared and thoroughly cleaned at the conclusion of the recent meal period. All equipment must be stored in the designated areaMaintain constant presence in room; greet guests upon arrival and thank them for coming upon their departureCommunicate guest compliments/complaints to managementNotify supervisor of any broken or damaged equipmentMaintain Driftwood and resort standards of food, beverage, and quality guest serviceAttend required meetingsOther duties as assigned KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIESMust have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendorsAbility to scrupulously follow all Driftwood and hotel policies and proceduresProjects and assignments are completed thoroughly, professionally, and with careAdjusts to high-pressure conditions and is open to changeConsistently maintain positive demeanorAssumes responsibility for personal growth and developmentAdheres to Driftwood and resort uniform, grooming and appearance standardsConducts him\herself professionally at all times; sets standards for all associatesUnderstands and communicates the Driftwood and Margaritaville missions and valuesExpresses ideas and conveys information clearly, effectively, and professionallyActively listens to othersConveys company information, decision, or problems to appropriate parties on a timely basisWorks to resolve disagreements and is respectful of peers and co-workersMust have a comprehensive knowledge of all hotel departments and functionsMust have a knowledge applicable Federal, state, and local health, safety, and legal regulationsMust have excellent mathematical and computer skillsHigh school education preferred. Relevant training and experience required Ability to timely obtain any required vaccinations, licenses or certificatesCPR training and first aid training preferredAdditional language ability preferred PHYSICAL DEMANDSMinimum lifting/pulling of 40 poundsBeing on feet for an entire shift, possibly 8 hours or morePushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterityHearing, writing, typing AGE REQUIREMENTSMust be at least 18 years of age or older. JOB TYPEFull Time PAY$12.30/hr
