Responsibilities Our group of DevOps and web development professionals is looking for a candidate with DevOps and application development experience to join us in developing cutting edge cloud native web applications and building a successful DevOps culture. Experience with building and deploying containerized and responsive web applications on AWS is desirable. Our projects range from established operational deployed systems to short-term research prototype efforts exploring and engineering possibilities. Qualifications Required Qualifications: - Experience with web development technologies such as React, webpack, TypeScript
- Experience deploying apps and services on AWS
- Experience using CI/CD tools (GitLab) to create custom DevSecOps jobs and pipelines
- Experienced with containerized app development/deployment using technologies like Docker & Kubernetes
- Experience working in a collaborative environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written
- BS or MS in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or a related field
- 5 years experience with cloud technologies and software development Preferred Qualifications: - Interest in building microservices using Spring
- Interest in programming languages such as Java/Kotlin, Rust, Go, Web Assembly
- Experience building GIS web applications using tools such as OpenLayers, Leaflet, etc.
