Draper seeks a leader highly experienced across a spectrum of program execution from science and technology to production and sustainment, requirements development and management, management in information technologies, and experience with oversight agencies such as DCMA or DCAA.

The Sr. Principal, ERP Operations is a new position reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO). The position leads use case analysis across the business tool and process transformation efforts. The Director must have experience and knowledge of the primary requirements that drive an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. Relevant experience includes program management, financial program controls, program contracting, management of information systems, compliance and oversight organizations such as DCMA and DCAA, cyber threats, and should be comfortable interacting with corporate accounting and finance teams.

The Sr. Principal leads a matrix team to integrate and prioritize cross functional requirements to align them with the Draper corporate strategy as executed through the business tool and process transformation efforts. This position sets the conceptual standards for the use case leaders who stress the uses for new business tools. By leading a cross functional team of use case leaders, this position brings focus, transparency, and efficiencies needed to maximize reinvestment of our business funds through the transformation efforts.

The position reports to the COO and is primarily focused on implementing a balanced set of cross functional requirements into the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tool as well as a balanced approach to integrating each of the other business tools into the ERP system. This director interacts daily with the executive leadership of the company as well as related matrixed functional teams. The Director is expected to interact and present information regularly to the CEO and Governance Board and thus requires experience distilling information to an executive audience.

Experience across the program life-cycle is essential. The Sr. Principal will be responsible for interfacing with customers, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and insuring analysis results are completed on schedule and within the approved budget. This position is eligible for hybrid, remote, or on premises and requires travel up to 25% of the time with the ability to surge travel as needed to accomplish requirements.

Responsibilites may include:

Integrates and deconflicts user requirements for five General Managers across four markets as well as fifteen business functions and their multi-disciplinary team leads for inclusion into Enterprise Resourcing Planning (ERP) capabilities.
• Establishes clear and repeatable processes to manage and prioritize requirements in timely manner to allow decisions to be made within budget cycles.
• Establishes and baselines KPIs through the ERP and related business tools to measures system health and to identify where future resources are needed to gain efficiencies.
• Communicates and generates buy-in from executive leadership across Draper delivering the highest level of Return on Investment for the ERP and related systems as baselined for future measurements through requirements driven KPIs
• Ensures that capabilities of ERP solution(s) are well understood and integrated to leverage best outcome for multi-functional outcomes.
• Integrate solutions in classified and unclassified environments.

Required Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI security clearance
• 15 years across the life cycle of program management with experience interacting with:
  • program financial controls to support measurements such as EVMS and EAC
  • program contracting, management of information systems
  • compliance and oversight organizations such as DCMA and DCAA
  • cyber threats
• 15 years experience leading multi-functional teams in managing portfolios and/or programs to manage requirements and capabilities within cost parameters
• Must have achieved Industry Program Management Certification or DAU Advanced Program Management Certification such as the Program Management Level III certification with completion of the DAU Program Managers Course
• Experience in managing efforts that requires supply chain and production management.
• Experience in management of cutting-edge technologies in laboratory environments.
• Experience in leading large and diverse multi-functional teams.
• Ability to travel up to 25%
• Strategic thinker; visionary for solving challenging issues
• Requires exceptional communication skills with demonstrated communication at the executive level

Desired Qualifications:

• PMI PMP certification
• Experience with DoD Special Access Programs is highly desired.

Security Requirement:

• Active, current, in scope Top Secret with SCI eligibility is required.
