Draper seeks a leader highly experienced across a spectrum of program execution from science and technology to production and sustainment, requirements development and management, management in information technologies, and experience with oversight agencies such as DCMA or DCAA.
The Sr. Principal, ERP Operations is a new position reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO). The position leads use case analysis across the business tool and process transformation efforts. The Director must have experience and knowledge of the primary requirements that drive an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. Relevant experience includes program management, financial program controls, program contracting, management of information systems, compliance and oversight organizations such as DCMA and DCAA, cyber threats, and should be comfortable interacting with corporate accounting and finance teams.
The Sr. Principal leads a matrix team to integrate and prioritize cross functional requirements to align them with the Draper corporate strategy as executed through the business tool and process transformation efforts. This position sets the conceptual standards for the use case leaders who stress the uses for new business tools. By leading a cross functional team of use case leaders, this position brings focus, transparency, and efficiencies needed to maximize reinvestment of our business funds through the transformation efforts.
The position reports to the COO and is primarily focused on implementing a balanced set of cross functional requirements into the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tool as well as a balanced approach to integrating each of the other business tools into the ERP system. This director interacts daily with the executive leadership of the company as well as related matrixed functional teams. The Director is expected to interact and present information regularly to the CEO and Governance Board and thus requires experience distilling information to an executive audience.
Experience across the program life-cycle is essential. The Sr. Principal will be responsible for interfacing with customers, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and insuring analysis results are completed on schedule and within the approved budget. This position is eligible for hybrid, remote, or on premises and requires travel up to 25% of the time with the ability to surge travel as needed to accomplish requirements.
