Job Opportunities & Overview:
Obtain samples and perform necessary tests on various materials using approved ASTM chemical analysis procedures to ensure accurate data for control decisions.
IR, gyp testing, freelime solution
Responsible for the first level of repair of lab equipment
Inform Control Room Operator on results and observations and recommend potential actions for conformity with quality standards.
Perform unscheduled tests on materials to evaluate suitable raw materials.
Advise QC Lab Supervisor when testing/results do not meet specifications to provide information for corrective actions.
Clean, wipe down work surfaces, equipment and floors in order to maintain a safe work environment
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
High school diploma or GED
