Responsibilities:
- Strong teamwork and communications skills.
- Must be able to do basic maintenance on equipment. Grease, fuel, clean, etc.
- Follow environmental, health, and safety procedures and report nonstandard acts and conditions.
- In a constructive and solution-oriented approach, identify and communicate concerns, problems, and /or challenges to management.
- Conduct routine mobile equipment inspections and ensure normal operation of the equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must be ok with shift work, working nights, etc.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Prior experience in cement or heavy industrial manufacturing is preferred.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must possess strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Good critical thinking skills with the ability to observe and assess situations and anticipate issues before they occur.
- Must understand and follow all Standard Operating Procedures.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English
